OWNERS DECLARATIONS

PEDRO CAMPOS, MOVISTAR Owner and Skipper:

Telefonica asks us to be in the most popular clases and this year is the RI 2. We have taken advantage for sailing with two sailors conteneders for the Volvo Ocean Race team. After the disqualification we will keep working and optimizing the boat for the next Copa del Rey.

ENRIQUE RUBIO, CUARDENOS RUBIO Owner and Skipper, líder in RI 1:

The results show us we are the favorites but we have to be modest. It is important to be regular and finish the race with as less points as posible.

SANTI MONJO, POWER PLATE Owner and Spi trimmer:

We defend the title obtained last year and our goal for this year is to be on the podium at least. We have new sails, great team and have a new distribution on the weights.

JESUS TURRO, SERCORTEL Owner and Skipper, third in RI 1:

We, Catalan teams, feel confortable in Valencia, so we always try to be here. This year there is a high level, similar to Copa del Rey. We are having a great challenge with another Grand Soleil 46.

SERGIO LLORCA, QUIJOTE II Owner and Skipper, líder in RI 2:

After Movistar´s disqualification our contender will be Vell Mari V. We meet good one each other as we have bee sailing together for years.

JOSE IGNACIO VICENT PEÑA, PHONEMOVIL Owner and Skipper, third in X-41:

With our new brand boat , second in the las Costa Azahar, we keep going and optimizing. Hope luck will be at our side to continue on the podiums.

MIQUEL COLOMER, CENTRAL LECHERA ASTURIANA Owner and Skipper, second in X-35:

With this project we move forward, not only technically but with a great crew. We keep optimizing and preparing the Worlds which will take place in Italy durign september.

JAVIER RODRIGUEZ, DONCELLA BEACH Owner and Skipper, third in X-35:

There is a high level and we keep trying to catch Central Lechera Asturiana. We like to be here in Valencia and after Trofeo de la Reina we will sail down to Andalucia and Canarias.
